your tax return, e-filing — April 18, 2016

Keep Calm and Carry On

by Bob Williams

tax deadline – keep calm and carry on

Well, here we are again – it’s the last day of tax season and we haven’t e-filed our taxes yet. Yes, it’s late, but no need to panic. Just hand the ball to us and we’ll take it from there.

Let's review what you need to get started. First, get all your documents at hand: your W-2, any deductible expenses you claim, your health care insurance documents, basically any tax documents you have.

Next up, just sign in to 1040.com and get started with our interview. The interview questions – and your answers – help to get you just the right forms you need. Fill those out, and from there it's a short trip to getting done and getting your refund on the way.

If you have a simple tax situation, filing your income taxes should be simple as well. We’ve done a lot of work here at 1040.com to make that happen. And simple equals fast. So just because you’re e-filing on the last day of tax season, there’s no need to worry. You have plenty to time to complete a simple process.

And should you need help, we have our team of support professionals standing by. Whether you contact us by chat or by email, we’ll be on duty right up to midnight on April 18.
