The Consolidated Appropriations Act, which included coronavirus relief, was signed into law on December 27, 2020. Among other things, the relief package adds $300 to all weekly unemployment benefits. Self-employed persons and freelancers still qualify for unemployment benefits, and those who work multiple jobs but have lost income could be eligible for a weekly $100 boost.

Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation was also extended for 11 weeks, which reaches into March 2021.
