Tax guide

Can I practice filing my taxes?

To practice filing your taxes, use 1040.com’s walkthrough technology before you actually send a tax return.

Since nothing is delivered to the IRS until you hit SEND, you can explore the software for free and get familiar with the sort of information you’ll need to have on hand when you actually sit down to file your taxes.

Be careful: Delete all the information from your practice session before you start filing for real. Use the left-side toolbar to locate any forms that must be deleted or completed with accurate information.
